On Friday, August 10-12th we hosted our very first RAM (Remote Area Medical) Clinic. RAM offers free high-quality dental, and medical services on a first-come, first-serve basis. We hosted over 65 volunteers to help with these services from all over the United States and Canada. We held a "Welcoming Ceremony" for all of the volunteers before the event took place that included a dinner, speakers, Lakota song and prayer, and archery lessons. The three-day clinic served over 300 people. Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped served our people throughout this clinic.
Also a HUGE thank you to the Unbroken Circle Project for feeding not only the patients but also the public all three days for breakfast and lunch. You all have touched many lives with your generosity and kindness!
