Suicide & Crisis Hotline Holders Take Part In Local Suicide Awareness Walk
This week our Suicide & Crisis Hotline holders took part in a local Suicide Awareness Walk. This event was mainly focused on the youth and their understanding of this subject. Local police officers, tribal youth programs, and our very own St. Francis Mission Suicide Prevention program delivered messages of hope to the young children.
The youngest age to call our suicide and crisis hotline was 8 years old. We feel it was very important to bring awareness to this hotline to the youth in our tribe for this very reason.
