SFM Youth Group Update
The SFM Youth Group met Sunday, March 15, 2015 at the Religious Ed Building from 1 p.m.-3 p.m. In keeping with our goal of mixing religious education and fun, we first talked about how Jesus wants to change our lives! This led to a great question and answer session with the youth.
The group also held a meeting where we decided our next activities, had lunch and then went on to the Digmann Hall in St. Francis to play some basketball and board games from 3 p.m.-6 p.m.
The SFM youth group was also invited to have a table at the SGU Fundraiser flea market last Thursday, March 12th. We had a fund raiser bake sale, selling brownies, rice krispies, cinnamon rolls (our big seller), pineapple upside down cupcakes, cupcakes, banana bread, candies, and water! Our table sold out in 2 hours, which was great for the kids and for our fundraising needs! Some of the youth baked the night before, we had families donate items and Jenny Black Bear, our Director of Religious Education, baked the rest of the goodies.
Our activities are only available because of the hard work of our staff, interest from local youth and, of course, our great supporters (like you!). Learn how you can help the SFM Youth Group grow by clicking here.
