RCIA? RCIC? What do these letters mean?! RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) and RCIC (Rite of Christian Initiation of Children) are programs that help fully welcome  individuals into the Catholic faith.

RCIA primarily focuses on adults who wish to fully enter into the Catholic Church. Through the three sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation), and various liturgical rites, adults are given the education and foundation to lead fulfilling, affirming lives within the Church.

RCIC is intended for children 7 and older who are not yet part of the Church to receive the sacraments of initiation. By this age, children can answer for themselves if they wish to enter into the faith instead of having their parents speak on their behalf.

Do you know anyone who is interested in becoming Catholic? Adults interested in Confirmation? Children who have not been baptized? Invite them to RCIA or RCIC!

RCIA classes begin Tuesday, September 25th! RCIC classes begin Sunday, October 7th! For more information, call Tony Lusvardi, S.J. at 747-2361.
