Praying for Jake Finkbonner, Blessed Kateri’s miracle boy,and his family as they have left for Rome on a Pilgrammage for Kateri’s Sainthood next Sunday in St. Peter’s square. Joining them will be various native american people from many tribes including Mohawk and Algonquin Kateri’s own tribe’s. And for all others that have recourse to Lily of the Mohawks, Flower of the Algonquin’s may they be Blessed by her and join her in rejoicing and celebrating through Mass, prayer & song. Mary, Mother of God, please watch over all those traveling to Rome and Bless Kateri Tekakwitha and pray for us all that we may come to be better catholics through the example of the Saints. Amen

Hau Kola!
I am a member of Saint George Melkite Greek Catholic Church in Milwaukee. On 21 October our church will be blessing and honouring a new icon of Saint Kateri, which will then be placed on a wall of the church to be venerated along with the many icons mostly of eastern saints that we now have displayed.
I follow Lakota culture as best as I can living in the big city. I have been associated with Saint Joseph Indian School in Chamberlain for many years, and have been involved with my Sun Dance family at Fort Yates (Brother/Deacon George Maufort). I am also a Traditional dancer. Thank you very much.
