| Caption: | This display case in the Geise museum contains Lakota artifacts, books authored by and about Fr. Buechel, and two photographs of him (see images 101 and 203, 503a 504). The War Bonnet and beaded moccasisns were acquired by his nephew Emil Büchel (see image215) who lived in Wisconsin with his family for several years, returning to Germany in 1929 and bringing along the artifacts. |
