October is a busy time at the Mission. Across our different programs in October, we held two dental clinics, took the SFM Youth Group to a diocesan youth rally, held our monthly recovery programs and celebrated National School Lunch Week . And that’s not all!
We were delighted to welcome new members into the church this month with baptisms being held at the beautiful St. Charles Borromeo parish. It was wonderful to see the fruits of our Religious Education program! Say a prayer for our newest (and littlest) members!
KINI Halloween Dance
Every year, our radio station, KINI, holds a popular Halloween dance. This dance is open to families and is drug and alcohol free – so families know it will be a good, healthy time for adults and children alike! (You may even catch someone you know in costume!)
Also a recurring event, our JVs (Jesuit Volunteers), with help from the Sapa Un Students, put on a Spook House! It’s a ton of work – but a ton of fun for those who go through!
Sapa Un Fun
Our Sapa Un students also had fun – parents decorated the school, and the children went reverse trick or treating – delivering treats around the reservation.
